About the Journal

Sponsored by the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS), the new journal Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Letters (TAML) is co-published with the American Institute of Physics (AIP) and will be produced in English bimonthly. The first issue launched in January of 2011.

TAML is an international peer-reviewed journal that will rapidly publish original short articles in all aspects of theoretical and applied mechanics as well as other interdisciplinary researches including aerospace and aeronautical engineering, coastal and ocean engineering, environment and energy engineering, material and structure engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical and transportation engineering, and civil and hydraulic engineering.

Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Letters is jointly published by the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and American Institute of Physics. The Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics is the sole distributor of the print and electronic versions in Mainland China, and American Institute of Physics is the sole distributor of the print and electronic versions outside Mainland China.
